DynaFlex integrates 3D Systems’ DMP Flex 200 metal printer, slashing production times by 80% and enhancing precision for dental labs.
DynaFlex, a leading innovator in the orthodontic industry, has announced it is adding 3D Systems’ DMP Flex 200 to its fleet of digital manufacturing technology, which will transform how dental labs produce metal applications.
The DMP Flex 200, equipped with a 500W laser and an enlarged build platform, promises 80% faster production for dental components like 3D-printed bands and fixed appliances. DynaFlex highlights the system’s reduced post-processing, automated workflows, and enhanced safety features, claiming it will streamline operations for practices nationwide.
“This enhancement is like injecting rocket fuel into our capability to further deliver on time and with uncompromised quality,” Darren Buddemeyer, owner and president of DynaFlex, said. The printer’s high-end laser tech and automation tools enable the company to “scale smarter and faster,” said Matt Malabey, director of operations.
Key upgrades include:
- Faster prints for high-precision dental alloys, such as CoCr and Ti Gr23.
- Automated nesting and support generation via Oqcam Software.
- Tighter chamber sealing to minimize contamination.
With this integration, DynaFlex reinforces its commitment to U.S.-made, high-performance solutions partnering with Nota3D and 3D Systems to push the boundaries of dental manufacturing. The move signals a broader industry shift toward faster, leaner, and more precise additive production for orthodontics.
