EufyMakes E1 UV printer launches on Kickstarter, offering photorealistic 3D textured coatings on various materials, priced at $1,699.
A new Kickstarter campaign reveals the EufyMake E1, a personal 3D texture UV printer that promises to add photorealistic, tactile graphics to over 300 materials, including 3D prints, canvases, and everyday objects. Priced at $1,699 for early backers, a claimed $800 discount, the E1 marks EufyMakes latest pivot since rebranding from AnkerMake and stepping back from traditional 3D printers.
The E1 is not a resin 3D printer, despite its UV curing mechanism. Instead, it uses piezo inkjet technology to spray photosensitive ink in CMYK, white, and varnish, curing layers up to 5mm deep on substrates fitting its 330 x 420 mm workspace. An optional rotary module handles uneven surfaces, while AI powered software simplifies graphic creation.

EufyMakes pitch leans into small business potential, with examples like transforming plain 3D prints into Minecraft style blocks or undercutting Displates metal relief art. The campaign targets July shipping, though skeptics may question the timeline given the companys history of shelved projects.
Whether the E1 carves a niche or fades like its predecessors, its hybrid approach, part printer, part texturing tool, hints at where creative tech could head next.
