Anycubic’s new foldable Portable 3D printer combines portability with impressive 460mm print height capability.
The 3D printing world is about to get a lot more portable. Anycubic’s latest innovation, a foldable 3D printer that collapses to just 75mm in height, is generating buzz after winning the iF Design Award 2025.
This isn’t your standard bulky 3D printer that demands a permanent spot in your workspace. Anycubic’s new model features five rotational axes that allow it to fold down neatly and be carried like a briefcase, solving one of the biggest headaches for 3D printing enthusiasts: finding enough room for their equipment.
But don’t let the compact size fool you. When unfolded, this printer can handle projects up to 460mm in height, putting it in league with many standard desktop models. The multi-axis arm design enables the print head to position precisely where needed, giving users flexibility for various project sizes.
The printer sports a modern light gray-silver color scheme with a dark, square-shaped print bed. Practical features abound, including an active cooling fan on the extruder system to prevent those frustrating filament jams that plague 3D printing projects.

“Unlike some of the best 3D printers, which are bulky and stationary,” the Anycubic model offers genuine portability without sacrificing functionality.
One smart design element is the dedicated drawer-style filament spool holder tucked into a sliding compartment in the base. This keeps materials organized and easily accessible – a thoughtful touch for users who work with multiple filament types.
Control is handled through a touchscreen interface, offering an intuitive way to navigate settings and monitor prints. Connectivity options are abundant, including a pair of USB-A ports, a USB-C port, and a micro-HDMI port for loading print files.
While the anticipation is building for this unique printer, Anycubic is yet to announce any specific launch date. But one thing is clear: portable 3D printing is no longer just a concept – it’s becoming reality.
As one industry observer put it, “Anycubic’s latest innovation could redefine what users expect from portable 3D printers.” For creators who’ve been limited by space constraints, that redefinition can’t come soon enough.
