Asiga launches PrintPods, enabling quick dental restoration printing directly in dental practices.
Asiga, the Australian 3D printer manufacturer, unveiled its innovative PrintPods at the International Dental Show (IDS) 2025 in Cologne, Germany, transforming existing 3D printers into powerful chairside systems for dental professionals.
The new PrintPods are self-contained material capsules designed to enable rapid production of dental restorations. Dental practices can now 3D print crowns, inlays, onlays, and veneers in just minutes, significantly streamlining clinical workflows.
Each PrintPod offers remarkable efficiency, supporting up to five prints per cartridge and maintaining Asiga’s commitment to an open material philosophy. The system is compatible with multiple restorative materials from trusted dental brands, providing clinicians flexibility in material selection.
Built on years of proven Asiga 3D printing technology, the PrintPods natively run on other Asiga printers in the field. The company is presently validating with top-tier material manufacturers to extend compatibility, and ensure uniform performance.
