Bambu Lab launches versatile H2D 3D printer combining printing, laser engraving, cutting, and plotting in a single desktop system.
Bambu Lab has unveiled its new H2D 3D printer, a next-gen, multi-purpose desktop system that aims to disrupt personal manufacturing. It offers a wealth of capabilities in a single machine, including 3D printing, laser engraving, cutting, and plotting.
The advanced specification of the H2D printer is a dual-nozzle printer, a 350°C hot-end, a maximum toolhead speed of 1000 mm/s and a 65°C heated chamber. This enables the processing of engineering-grade materials, like carbon and glass fiber reinforced filaments.
According to Bambu Lab’s CEO, Dr. Tao, the H2D aims to “fundamentally transform how designers, engineers, and makers approach personal manufacturing” by delivering high-quality performance across multiple manufacturing functions.
Key features include a Vision-Assisted Encoder System with 50µm motion accuracy, an intelligent nozzle camera, and an advanced Filament Monitoring System with 15 strategic sensors. The printer also introduces two versions of an Automatic Material System (AMS), including a pro version with filament drying capabilities.

Pricing starts at $1,899, with the full H2D Laser Full Combo (40W) version available for pre-order at $3,499, shipping by the end of April. The base model is scheduled for release in June.
