ADDiTEC introduces Fusion S metal printer, completing its portfolio of metal additive manufacturing technologies.
ADDiTEC introduced its new FUSION S metal laser PBF (M-L-PBF) technology platform at RAPID + TCT 2025 in Detroit on Wednesday, expanding the company’s metal 3D printing capabilities.
The Fusion S system represents a significant addition to ADDiTEC’s portfolio, complementing its existing Directed Energy Deposition (DED) and Liquid Metal Jetting (LMJ) solutions. With this launch, ADDiTEC joins a small group of companies offering three different metal additive manufacturing technologies.

Brian Matthews, CEO of ADDiTEC, called the launch “a major milestone” in the company’s mission to provide comprehensive metal 3D printing solutions across industries including aerospace, defense, medical and energy sectors.
The new platform was developed through a strategic collaboration that combined established Laser Powder Bed Fusion technology with advanced engineering. The system features high-resolution printing capabilities and a compact design with integrated powder handling.

The Fusion S includes a closed powder architecture that prevents direct contact with metal powders during operation. It supports various advanced alloys including titanium, stainless steel, and cobalt chrome.
