Hardware enthusiasts converge on Berlin’s MotionLab for two days of tech demonstrations and collaborative innovation.

A Reddit post reveals that Hackday Europe 2025 is set to launch this weekend at Berlin’s MotionLab, bringing together hardware enthusiasts for an “informal show-and-tell” event focused on tech creation and design.

The two-day gathering, scheduled for March 15-16, offers a packed lineup of activities including chip design workshops, live demonstrations, and speaker sessions aimed at the technologically inclined. Arduino co-founder David Cuartielles will deliver the keynote address titled “What If the Future (of Electronics) Was Compostable?”

While many ticket options appear to be sold out, some general admission tickets remain available at $156.57, according to sources familiar with the event. These tickets include food and drink, plus entry to Saturday’s late-night party.

All attendees will receive a “hackable” badge compatible with Simple Add-Ons (SAOs), allowing for customization – not just a souvenir but potentially an engaging activity during the event itself.

For those arriving early, an informal pre-party is planned for 6 PM on Friday, March 14, at the Jockel Biergarten in Berlin. No tickets are required for this preliminary gathering.

Information about Hackday Europe appears somewhat fragmented across various Hackaday blog posts. Those interested in attending should consult the organization’s latest post for additional details and relevant links.
